That to me is no surprise. Ive told many people that he would have KY in trouble before long. Bobby Knight said it best when he said that Calapri shouldnt be allowed to coach anymore in college. I couldn't agree more.

Re: In case there was any doubt...

you mean besides playing a THIRD ineligible player in as many coaching stops? hmmm kind of a pattern that would be an insane coincidence huh?

well besides that, there's this paragrapgh that is a little more telling of what is going on...

"A college coach who recruited Bledsoe said that Ford explicitly told his coaching staff that he needed a specific amount of money to let Bledsoe sign with that university. The coach, who did not want to be named out of fear of repercussions when recruiting in Birmingham, said Ford told him and his staff that he was asking for money because he was helping pay rent for Bledsoe and his mother. Ford denied this, saying, ?I don?t prostitute my kids.? "

now you can take a couple things from that paragraph...

    1) maybe the Bledsoe camp wanted this particular college to pay for his services, but did not require the same of the college that ultimately landed him...yeah, that's just retarded

    2) maybe this Ford guy is telling the truth...but then again, there are more than a couple people in this article alone saying he is not

all I know is that during Bledsoe's recruitment, the overwhelming opinion was that he would not qualify and would likely need to re-classify as a 2010 prospect...but then all of a sudden not only does he reach NCAA minimums, but he has a B average?? a B average??? the kid never got a single B in 2.5 years before the school transfer

I understand if you're gonna bury your head in the sand that I could show you a video of Calipari handing a big stack of money to a prospect, while changing his players' grades from his blackberry and hitting an old lady and you some of you still wouldn't think anything is actually going on....but I guess ignorance is bliss

What's with the rant bro? I just asked what he did. What his involvement with Bledsoe was. The article wouldn't load on my phone, couldn't read it, so I asked.

the rant wasn't necessarily directed at you...just some others who refused to believe, for whatever reason, that Calipari is one of the most corrupt coaches in the business

Calhoun just got popped and he is in the top 3 too...now if only we can nail Rick Stansbury, and Scott Drew (irony)...we can start to clean it up a little....but honestly thatd only be scratching the surface...how Tim Floyd didn't get a "show-cause" is beyond me...he needs to have had a worse punishment than Kelvin Sampson

Re: In case there was any doubt...

Why not just go ahead and call college basketball and football what it really is, a minor league farm system for the pros. Let the kids play and forget about it. Fact of the matter is, this crap goes on everywhere, some are just better at hiding it than others are.

But, I do agree, as long as we are going to have rules, there should be punishment for breaking them.
